Jessica Baluyut has been teaching/tutoring homeschool students, traditional school students, and college students for fifteen+ years. She has a B.A. in English and a Minor in Music. She was also educated in American Sign Language during college under Deaf teachers, and volunteered for a year at the Regional School for the Deaf and Blind. She is the author of the young adult novel, Breathe, under her pen name, Jessica Laurie.

Jessica loves bringing joy and creativity to each lesson by discovering each student's individual learning style and incorporating their interests into lesson plans when possible.
